Dear Sir,

I Amruta Purandare have a Reliance Mobile Number 09323734103.

On 16/11/2009 at 11.07 PM I received a SMS notifying that my Caller tune Services have been Activated (“Dear Reliance Customer,You are Now subscribed to the Callertune Services.You can now Download Songs and set them as your Callertune-From 52811).I had never subscribed for the Service.

When I Contacted Reliance Customer Care, in the morning at around 11.00AM I was Told that They didnot have the Information on their system and was told to Contact a Couple of Hours Later.

Suddenly after that in the afternoon at 12.44 PM I received a SMS Stating that I was Charged Rs.10/- for my Caller Tune Subscription (“Your subscription to CRBT Services ahs been Renewed at Rs.10 for a Period of 10 Days. To Unsubscribe SMS UNSUB1003 to 155223 (Tollfree).
I was immeiately Charged Rs.10 for the same and My Balance Which was earlier around Rs.2/- was now shown as Rs.-8.11/-

When I again Called Reliance Customer Care I was told that I was charged the Rental for my Caller Tune Subscription (Which I had never Subscribed).Further They are even telling that the Rs.10/- which they have charged me without my Intimation for Subscription to their Services would not be Reversed.My Interaction No. with the CustomerCare Agent was 1494038167 .Later after that I received a SMS Stating that my Caller tune Subscription had been Deactivated.(“You have Sucessfully Unsubscribed from Reliance Caller Tune Service”).But the Charges (Rs.10/-) which they had Wrongfully deducted from my Balance was not Reversed.I again Called up Reliance Customer Care and Intimated them about the same.My Interaction No. with the Customer Care Agent (Mr.Ashutosh) was 1494079939.He too,started saying that the subscription Charges wouldnot be reversed in any case.I asked him to Forward the Call to some Senior Executive.My Call was Forwarded to Mr.GurvinderSingh (A Senior Supervisor).The Interaction No. this time was 1494094794. Even after much arguing and requests I was given the same answer

Sir,

I request you to take up this Matter since Reliance CDMA Services seems adamant in offering me Services and Charging me for the same without my consent.

My Contention is that

1. When I didnot subscribe for the Callertune Services How come Reliance activates the Services without my Consent and Knowlege

2. How can Reliance Charge me when I had not Opted for Any Services

3. When I asked for Reversal of the Charges they Immediately Deactivated the Services but didnot refund my money

4. This has lead to inconvenience to me as I could not make any calls and couldnot reach out to my colleagues and acquiantances

5. I may not be the only Person who has been Fradulently Charged Rs.10/- ,there may be Many Others who didnot mind Being Chaged Rs.10/- coonsidering it to be a paltry Amount.

I request you to Take up this Matter with Reliance CDMA Services and Ask them to Refund me my Money
