Defective shirts were received against my online order number IRSP4435905 dated 24-9-13. When contacted by me through email, IRCTC wanted photographs of defects within 48 hours. I have sent photographs within 1 hour 15 minutes. As I did not get reply for a week, I reminded them through the same trailing mail. I was shocked to receive a reply that my complaint can not be entertained as I failed to send the photos within 48 hours. I have sent the timing details of my mails to them. There is no proper reply from them till today, despite warning them that no reply for 48 hours would lead me file a complaint through consumer court. The value of shirts (Rs.2148/=) may be refunded and the shirts be taken back. They also need to avoid replying to complaints asking photos within 48 hours and mistreat customers even after receiving photos. They should deliver only first quality goods first of all.
