Yepme.com – Rejected Shortage Stock

I placed an order for sandels on yepme.com and it was COD. I got the mail from Yepme.com that my order is placed and it will be shipped to me on or before 16th of sept, 2014. but till 17th of Sept the status on website was showing as pending for dispatch. so I called fot the details and the customer care executives told me that it will be shipped within 2 days. and it didn’t happened. so I called up again on 20th sept and they told me that it will be shipped till 20th evening. today I got the mail that my order is rejected due to shortage of stock. my question is why did they accepted my order when they had no stock? and why there customer care executives told me that they will ship it within 48 hrs?? I cancelled another deal which cost me 500 Rs. and now they didn’t even shipping me my order. I need damage for loss of my time also.
