Carrier AC – ooling of the air conditioner has reduced

On 8/4/14 we registered a complain to Carrier customer care that the cooling of the air conditioner has reduced. There wasn’t any other problem with the AC. The technician visited and told us that only the gas was leaking. He took the AC home with him to repair as he said that the service center was far away. We followed him several times about when he could return it to us. He wasn’t providing us any answer about the problem in the AC or when he could return it. After many days passed we requested customer care to intervene and get our AC returned. The technician finally returned it but he reported that it is not in working condition at all! He said that almost all the parts are non functional and it would cost a lot to repair it. When we had handed him over the AC, it was working and just the cooling was reduced. The carrier service agency asked us to bear all the cost of whatever parts are non functional in the AC in order to repair it for us.

We would like to have our AC repaired or replaced free of cost as it was in working condition when it was sent to the service center and some warranty that it will not malfunction in the specified period. If it does then carrier should repair it free of cost.
