sir, this is a cheating complaint pertaining to vacations gateway, a-94/10 sector – 58, noida – 201301. the agent of the said company, mr ramakrishna, informed me that i was selected as a winner of their company and assured me that i was being given a laptop as the prize on 10 jan 14. he told me that i should take a holiday package worth rs.7799 to be eligible for winning the prize. i was told to pay the amount online. i have passed the details of my debit card through phone to the above said agent. he had used the details provided by me and debited rs.7799 from my bank account using the company computer ip. however, the prize has not been given to me till date. while trying to contact him, he normally does not pick up the mobile. if at all he picks up the phone, he tells numerous fraud reasons for denying the gift. at last, on 04 apr 2014, he agreed to pay the amount back to me. however, this is also not done till date. being a defence person, i am restricted to contact a company agent frequently. his company mobile no. is 919911988006. in view of the above, it is humbly requested that the above matter may be examined and the company be prevailed upon for refund of the money debited from me through cheating. it is further requested that the company may be warned for making false offers and cheating people for the sake of business purposes. thanking you in anticipation… yours faithfully, lijin m john
