I took a new connection with idea last month, the plan was 549 Rs. postpaid connection. The customer care representative explained the offers as it is in the plan brochure, like 2 GB data. while i was using the phone at certain times after data usages a flash screen displayed and showed my balance as it was and what was remaining from the 2GB. The bill came a huge amount 1635.28 on the 5th of september. i contacted the show room and asked for explanation and the staff said sorry for the miss communication and i have to go to ideas office in ravipuram and i will get it waived from there. i had used more than 2 gb and i said i will pay the extra data after 2gb i used. i went to the idea point, they registered a complaint and said they will contact me before 18th. till then unbarring my phone wasn’t possible for the idea computer barring, it did unbarred but automatically got barred everytime. Finally a customer care rep called me and talked to me and said i have to go back to the show room and they will waive it for me. i went to the show room(17th) the representative there tried to contact some one in their head office and said he will fix this for me. I had to go to kottayam, on my way i contacted him using the other phone i had and it wasn’t fixed. as for my business i had to travel yet again to malapuram and calicut. when i reached mallapuram, i contacted idea show room in kaloor via phone and the rep said i have got 300 rs waived, even though it wasn’t good enough i paid the rest of the amount in a show room in mallapuram. my phone got unbarred for me for 10 minutes and got barred again. i contacted the idea kaloor office again and got the same answer the phone will be unbarred soon. it didnt get unbarred and i called idea kaloor office 5-6 times got the same answer. i came back to ekm and still its not unbarred. i contacted the idea office again and the rep said i have mailed the manager she will do it soon from their other office. its 12:13 pm on the 19th yet my phone is not unbarred. FOr a genuine reason and to resolve a complaint this easy i had to visit show rooms and the offices and keep distressing contacting their customer services and nothing have happened. this is emotionally taxing. i had contacted idea customer service even today on 9847012345 and what the representative told me was she know nothing about it, and she redirected me to go to the showroom..?? (my original bill due date is on the 20th which is tomorrow yet i had to suffer even after paying my dues)
Just get my phone unbarred and provide better service in the future for customers who live daily lives facing a lot of challenges in their personal life. Provide proper information on the charges they could incur by getting charged on their pro rata monthly bill for the first bill. st
