Micromax handset – found the set to be defective no response by dealer

Hi, I purchased a Micromax CDMA handset C115 from Z R Communication some time back. I found the set to be defective. I went to them for help. They routed me to the Micromax Service Center. The Micromax service center issued a DOA(Dead on Arrival) status for phone, packed the handset & said that please visit the retailer with this. The retailer was supposed to provide me with a new handset in replacement. I visited the retailer in 1st week of March 2014, the staff was nice. They called the distributor & confirmed that I will receive a new set by next day. But the owner, Mr. Syed refused saying it will take a minimum of 15 days. So, I need to purchase a new handset in case if its urgent. He showed me some Reliance handset which did not had any MRP label on it. He told it is worth Rs. 3000. My friend had purchased a similar set from a different outlet & MRP mentioned on the set was Rs. 2300. So, that’s the first forge. They sell mobile phone removing the MRP label at a price higher than its MRP. When I said I don’t want new handset please can you get me a new handset fast, the staff was very generous & they said that I will receive it the next day only as Distributor agreed. I tried to follow up for my handset over the phone for next few days & I kept on getting excuses. Finally, I landed at the store on Thrusday, 13th of March 2014 & I demanded for my set. Mr. Syed refused saying, it will take another 15 days. I protested & said to refund me my money or give me a replacement handset. He went on very rude with me. Finally, on lot of insistance, he called up distributor on his mobile on Speaker, someone named Mr. Prasad from Micromax. He(Mr. Syed) spoke his normal business & then presented my case. Mr. Prasad said that I will receive my phone by Wednesday. On this, Mr. Syed put the phone on speaker so that I can hear the Wednesday. When I requested Mr. Syed to let me speak to him, he said Mr. Prasad is a big man, he is the boss & I can’t speak to him & disconnected. Mr. Syed was very rude to me. Now, I am stuck in between with no handset for more than 1 month & still not confirm of when I will receive my handset. When I visited othis Monday i.e. 7th, they gave me a set which was used as the call timer said it was used for 56 hrs. So I did not accept the set. They are now asking for 15 more days. I tried complaining to applete authority but I didn’t received any help from them. They told me I will have to speak to Micromax dealer for that. Kindly help me. Thanks, Vikash

I want these forge people from ZR Communications to be taught a lesson on how to behave with customers & not fool them. Also I want my money back with proper loss that I have beared
