On 29th September, 2014, I got a call from Shining Your Career.Com, regarding a confirmed job that they have. They told me that I have to register myself with the company, which was free of cost. After the registration they made me pay ? 1,850, saying this was the only charge I will incur for some procedure. After that they told me that to complete the procedure, I have to again pay additional ?4,205, else I will not get the job and they agreed that this was going to be the last payment. They have gone to the extent of telling me that on the same day i.e 29th September, 2014 I was to have an online interview with the Company and after the online interview, one interview would be in the Company’s Premises. After this payment they told me the next step which requires the payment of more than ? 9,000, at this moment I denied to pay the amount saying that you can deduct the same amount from my salary, once I get the Job. However, there was no interview taken and no job given. Later I come to know that these would be for career alerts and other services which I have not agreed upon. They are not even ready to refund the amount. Evidence: We have few recordings of the conversation with the Brand/Dealer, after we have paid the amount. 1. Refund of my amount : ?6,055 2. Additional Compensation for harassment. 3. The website ‘shininyourcareer.com’ to be banned, otherwise they will keep on cheating and committing fraud with people.
