i am having a pension account with State Bank of Hyderabad, APHB COLONY BRANCH, KPHB COLONY, HYDERABAD – 500085 and my pension is credited on the last working of the month. in my account i have opted for credit / debit message alert. for this message alert a fixed charge is debited from my account periodically. for the last few months i am not receiving any message alert from the Bank. This is causing inconvenience to me by making me to check the balance by visiting the ATM and checking the balance. With this checking the balance in ATM I am 1 transaction out of the limit assigned to the account holder by the Bank. The other way is to check the balance “online”. For this also I have to use the Internet (for this also I have to spend money). The above mentioned 2 actions are to be adopted only after the banking hours or late hours of the day. The last alternative left to me is to visit the Bank branch and enquire about the crediting of pension. This activity involves journey in this summer and waiting for my turn for a long time. All this is happening because of the failure of the Bank branch in sending “message alerts”. Here I am to say that in other branches of the same State Bank of Hyderabad “messages alerts” are sent to the customers.
The State Bank of Hyderabad, APHB COLONY BRANCH, KPHB COLONY, HYDERABAD – 500085 should send me “message alert” to my registered mobile number promptly. If you permit me I am bringing to your notice that other banks are sending messages even for small transactions whereas this Banks minimum limit is Rs.5000/-. This is also another point of concern.
