I Purchased a biogas plant from Synod Biosciences ( Bill is from Bio Energy Enterprises. Bill No: 310) on 29th March 2014 for Rs 15,900. I made the full payment immediately after delivery.

The technician from the company came to my home for inspecting and installation of the plant. As per the prior advice from the company , I had arranged fresh cow dung of required quantity to fill the plant prior to the delivery. The installation, being an important process as conveyed by the company, I requested the technician to supervise the mixing and filling of cow-dung inside the plant. He denied saying that he has to go to another site and doesnt have time.

Technician asked me to mix the cow dung and water in 2:1 ( One bucket dung mix with half bucket water) and fill the plant. He informed me that from 9th day onwards the cooking gas will be vent out which can be used for cooking and they provided a stove also. Exactly as he suggested, I filld the plant with Cow-Dung water mixture. The total quantity will be around 500 Litres.

After 9 days and 12 days, the cooking gas did not came out. I informed the compnay about the problem and after several reminders, the technician came to check the plant and told me that the water content in the cow dung is excess and needs to refill the same with fresh dung. Evacuating 500 L of slurry from the plant is very difficult as I am staying in a house in 6 Cents of plot. For clearing it will cost another Rs 3000. I am not ready to pay for a cause which happened due to the negligence of the company by not doing /supervising Installation. Proper functioning of the plant is the responsibility of the company and I need a working plant which worth my money.

So I requested the company to bear the cost of evacuating the plant and I will bear the cost of arranging new fresh Cow Dung and the laborer charge ( Again will cost more than Rs1000).

The company people denied my suggestion saying that installating the plant is not their responsibility.

I am helpless now with a dead plant in my house ,which is of no use , consuming the leftout space of my house.

Please give me justice as a consumer who invested for a non working plant from a company which is not even having a good process of installation and customer orientation. I lost the confidence in after sale service of the company. Hence request you to instruct the company to take back the plant and refund the amount that I spent with suffiecient compensation.
