Sir , we gifted my parents a new phone with connection on their Wedding anniversary . We opted for Vodafone being the best service provider . We opted for a postpostpaid conn as they both are senior citizens and we did not want insufficient balance at any given situation . WE took the least plan of 199 for them plus net as they could converse with us over WHATSAPP , being free and cost effective . we submitted all identity proof , forms and sufficient no of docs to support the introduction of a new line . Apparently they were to leave for Haridwar/ Rishikesh and we were happy that they will be in touch as good network . The Customer care did the reference chi and address verification , etc . All was taken care off in the right manner as all documentation was provided . My parents reside at Bandra but have shifted to andheri west as their building has gone under redevelopment . The cost care asked us to submit both house proof . Their permanent and the rented one . We did that on their request . But here starts the big issue and the amount of trauma my parents have gone through their entire trip and amount of harassment they faced from the Cust care / Gallery personnel . It is highly disappointing cos they barred my mothers phone and the entire trip she was not connected to the family . On approaching the Gallery in Mumbai , they said the address verification is not right . We had been honest in informing them that they are staying on rental and the building is under deep . Their person went and saw the building under construction . He put comments – PARTY NOT STAYING AT THE LOCATIOn . Kindly advise me sir after narrating the story and informing educated people at the gallery , how can some one stay in a broken building . Obviously they are staying somewhere else temporarily and we have provided full evidence of docs / lease documents / passport copy / pan card / aadhar . Old hse and rental hse proof . STILL THEY BARRED THE CONNECTION . Mum was at Haridwar and all handicapped without a phone . We rushed to the gallery to start the line as we had given enough of docs . They did not start the phone . ON COMING back mummy went to the gallery personally as she recd her first billing . If the phone did not work only , how come they are generating a bill . To avoid any further difficulty for my parents , we paid the bill . Still her phone did not start . They assured it will start in a day or two . After lot of breaking our head . The phone started .
We want you to please check on the systems that the gallery is following , unnecessary harassment to the customer . no correct knowledge , they keep misguiding members and calling them again and again . It should be a transparent , smooth and perfect system . Once documents taken , enter it into the system and stop harassing the clients . Billing hi much hi lagatey hai ???? Because people have no time in a city like mumbai .. they feel they can cheat people ransom mein , put billing high , sure a reversal and then keep fighting ?????? They have never ever felt the need to apologise to my parents for giving them so much of stress ??? Lines should at least work . They are paying not using it for free . Forget all that the trauma for 2 old senior citizens to rub their shoe every alternate days to come to the gallery , wait for their turn and then get an unsatisfied answer is highly dejecting . Sir you should really take some strict action against such telecom providers . India can improve and be one of the finest countries if people work with the right attitude .
