Why Health Insurance Claim Not Settled ?

My father enrolled into an insurance policy with them, he was admitted in the hospital on 23/05/2016 and was discharged on 27/05/2016. We have claimed for the reimbursement of the amount which we spent in the hospital. They asked all my fathers original medical documents to be submitted which I did, after so many follow ups and being continuously dropping mail, they have denied to refund. The concern I have is they do not respond themselves, their executive visited my fathers office stating and assuring the amount will be refunded and the process is going on. after so many mails they have sent me out a letter stating those disease, which my father was not even suffering. How can I believe that whatever their doctor has stated is correct. I would like you to take an action against these brands as at times when they have to sell the policy they gave you calls like hell and when it comes to follow up and refund they are least bothered.

I have spent the amount in the insurance policy and haven’t received the amount yet. We had to get my father discharged early as we were not able to afford the expenses of the hospital.
