I booked 3 holiday packages for myself, my mother and my friend to Europe starting from 29th may to 6th June 2014. Since in their advertisement they had clearly mentioned that 100% money back when booked before 28th Feb. I gave my confirmation to Poonam over the phone before 28th Feb 2014 but could send the email only the following day. As being in Dubai Friday 28th Feb was holiday. I sent the authorisation and paid AED13,997 Job Reference No. IN1403B6S018009. So I booked my visa date for 20th March 2014 for the visa purpose I needed hotel bookings. I sent them several e-mails and called them several times on 18th of March their partner in Dubai made a random voucher for me and sent to me after 6pm. On 19th I had a very important meeting so was travelling. So didn’t get much of chance to check the details. On 20th March during my visa document submission time the visa officer pointed that there is in-consistency in your Cover letter, Hotel booking and Itinerary. As there was no turning back and however I submitted the document. And as expected visa got refused. When I highlighted this point to their Dubai counterpart she got angry and said that you should have told me in advance that you have mentioned about the countries in the cover letter, whereas I prepared my cover letter as per the countries they had mentioned in the itinerary. Every time I called them for information they would not provide the proper guidance. By this time I was getting little anxious so I tried for second visa appointment and booked the date. My friend alerted me about their un-professional approach and rather than wasting any further money in visa application its better to cancel the package. So I asked them to cancel the package. This is where the shock came they said they would charge AED1500 per person. I told them that’s too much ok than I will still use your service kindly postpone my trip for Oct or transfer the package to somebody else. And they refused to do that. They claimed that they have to pay the hotel for cancellation. When my friend in London called the hotels in France they informed us that the booking made for visa purpose was cancelled more than a month ago However considering the effort executives put into organising the package I politely wrote them since there is no booking made for me and my family but still your are claiming that you have done but since you have put in effort I will pay AED 100 per person which is a good amount for no service provided. Shalini said she will charge AED 1000 per person no matter what. When my friend also asked ok send me the copy of hotel booking that you have made and cancelled than I am ready to pay you the amount. Shalini just made an excuse stating that it’s with the other department. After this, my friend wrote the complain to their complaint department reference no. 140514-008343 since I was travelling so had no possibility of accessing computer and since he was also one of the traveller in this package and as
I paid for this package through my credit card. Since I have not got my refund my bill is escalating high every month. And this is creating a financial crisis in my life. And it is a horrendous process to get the money back.
