I have applied for home loan in ICICI Bank on 28th April’14. I have submitted the required document of property on very first day of application and sales manager confirmed that project is approved for home loan and same is mentioned at icici bank website as well. 15th May ’14 was my payment date to builder, my loan application was sanctioned on 9th May’14. Now after so much of harassment faced from bank guys yesterday they told me that project is not approved and bank can not provide the loan. Bank has already deducted the processing fee amount which i have given to them. Now my payment to builder is already 6 day late and if I go to apply to some other bank then it will take again 15-20 days for payment disbursal for which I will have to give late fee payment to builder (18% interest rate). I tried to contact bank manager Mr. Pankaj Kumar but he is not reachable and not picking the phone as well. Personally I am very much disturbed now feeling helpless. My financial condition is not good and now I will have to pay late payment fee and now without giving loan bank has also deducted money from my account. I request consumer forum to help me in this regard.

It is very basic thing that bank check the document about the property before providing the loan. My property is located at Mahagun Mywoods Phase-III, Greater Noida West. This project is approved for home loan at ICICI web site. Bank has sanctioned the loan and deducted the processing fee but denied to give the loan. I request consumer forum to assist in providing all the money related to late payment to builder, my processing fee 5813 INR and 50000 INR (all from ICICI Bank) for so much of harassment.
