I, Biswanath Debroy am account holder of Kotak Mahindra Bank (New Friends Colony Branch) from last 1.5 years. As I had taken my car loan from Kotak that is the reason they open my account for easy payment (emi) options. I agreed and opened my account with them for convince but to be very honest its not as easy as I thought these people keep harassing me from last 1.5 years. I am paying my Car EMI on time as the executive told us that just pay the EMI amount every month. We transfer the same on time. As all going well but all sudden we got a call from KOTAK RECOVERY TEAM that our account is on minus balance of Rs 5200/- (approx) and need to pay as soon as possible or else they we will put me on civil. I rush to our branch for the same and they said it’s a saving account and due to non maintaining it from last 1.5 years it is all maintenance charges. But very unfortunate KOTAK never communicate with me from last 1.5 years and I don’t even received BANK KIT and INTERNET BANKING for my account. As today, when our Honorable PM Narendra Modi started “Dhan Jhan Yojna” for every person instant account, I am feeling like cheated. I went there couple of times and given written application to rectify the error or mis communication but these guys never turned up. In fact I spoke to customer care many times but no positive result. I too applied for my internet banking but I don’t even receive any password till date. When I complaint this to my branch they replied my address is not update. SIR, PLEASE TELL ME HOW BANK CAN OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITHOUT FULL ADDRESS AND THEY TOO GIVE LOAN TO PEOPLE? Me and my wife both are working we keep taking off and go to them to rectify and update our account but all this tries are fading. We don’t get any hope from any sides. Please take our matter seriously and help us to find a better solution
