I purchased a Micromax Canvas Doodle 2 A240 smart phone with IMEI No: 911316250637848 on 02/june/2014 from cell World mobile stores with Invoice no: 8I/PRAK/695for Rs. 15,200/-. I started using the phone from the day I purchased and on 14/6/2014 the phone stopped working and it was not charging and the phone was absolutely dead. I took my mobile phone to the store where I purchased the phone and the store people guided me to take the phone to a Micromax service center which is located in secunderabad (sp-sri dhatre mobiles, shop no: 13 & 14, diamond towers, between taj tristar & hotel belson taj mahal, secunderabad – 500001). I took the address and went to the service center on 16/6/2014. I told the technician that the phone is not charging and also it is dead and not turning on and also informed him that the phone was heating up incessantly as i was using the phone. the service technician took the phone and lodged a complaint and told me to wait and informed that there is some problem with the mother board of the phone and also the charger has gone bad as a result it was not able to charge the phone. I told him how can a new phone which is 12 days old can have such problem, he said we cant help for the overheating problem because as of now the phone is working and the charger has gone bad so he told me that he would replace with a new charger. I did not agree with his point and i asked for a replacement as it is a new phone, when i asked about replacement he said that they cannot replace as it has crossed 7 days of grace period. I asked him that i was not informed about the 7 days grace period nor it was mentioned anywhere in the handbook or the phone store person informed me about that. He entered into an argument with me and told me to go to any other service centre of my choice. As i was helpless and wanted a phone for regular communication i accepted the new charger and took the phone. The phone was working but was over heating and as my usage with the phone was limited i overlooked the heating problem. on 05/09/2014 as i was talking on my phone the phone swithced off immediately and it was not turning on again, I tried to charge the phone but there was not no response and the phone was dead again. I went to the same service centre again on 06/09/2014 along with the charger and the previous case sheet, the technician again lodged the complaint and told me to wait for 2 hours and took the phone for a check. he came back and told me that there is an issue with the mother board of the phone, then again i reminded him of the previous case, he took the phone again for check up and came back and said that the charger was fine and now the phone is working as it had some issues with the battery. Again i requested him to replace the phone with a new one because it was heating up and it is turning off and causing inconvenience and also the phone is under warranty. Again that person started arguing with me stating that i need to talk to the call centr
I need a replacement of the phone with a new one or else repair my phone with out charging any money as it is still under warranty and also i don’t want to loose my data from the phone which has my contacts and family photos.
