sir,my name is syam and i am residing in trivandrum .Now a days it become a trend that the autoriksha drivers takes double the fare that display on meter.today(24/7/2009)i came across such an incident i took an autoriksha (no:KBT 3380) from karamana and travelled to my home(ellipode) at 6:30 a.m.after reaching the destination the meter showed the fare to be 39 rupees(only a distance of 5 k.m ) but the auto driver told me that i have to pay rupees 80.then i told him why i had to pay this extra amount then he replied that its the return charge .After that i told him that i will not pay the amount .Then he become angry and scolded me and my brother.Inorder to avoid quarrel my brother payed the amount opposing my words.This is not only a single case it is a common incident now a days.So i strongly request the authorities to take strong action against the driver in this case also take required steps for avoiding this problem in future.His vehicle no is KBT 3380
