Allow me to elucidate. My 3 months membership with NEO Group X (a sub division of Snap Fitness), had come to an end on Sep 25, 2014. I was pursued for about 2 weeks by Mr. Hari Prasad, who would call me repeatedly asking me to renew my membership. When I conveyed to him that I would be travelling all of October 2014, he said that the membership could be pushed to begin in the month of November 2014. When I also conveyed to him my concern that I would be getting transferred to Indirangar and that I might not be able to take on a new membership, he said that transferring the membership to another individual would not be a problem and that he would personally see to it that the process would be smooth for me. I got confirmation of my transfer mid-November 2014 and conveyed the same to Mr. Hari, who again promised me that he would find someone to give my membership away to, when I moved out by Jan 2015. No initiative was taken towards this and in Dec 2014 I personally took the trouble of talking to members to find if anyone’s membership was up for renewal. I found a member who was actively interested and who was also introduced to Mr. Shiva and Mr. Hari as the individual who would be taking over my membership. When I returned 2 weeks later, I found out that Mr. Hari had sold her a membership from the gym and had violated the trust I had placed in him to resolve this issue for me. After which he hasn’t been taking my calls, avoiding to return the many messages I have left at the front desk for him and I have personally visited the gym several times over the last month to seek closure on this. I’m really disappointed and upset with the way this whole situation has panned out. This individual, Mr. Hari Prasad has caused me tremendous angst and has made me run from pillar to post to get this resolved. I look forward to this being sorted out at the earliest. As discussed with Mr. Hari, we agreed upon a settlement of Rs.8000 to close this chapter, as the balance amount of my membership.
