The site https://kaverionline. karnataka.gov.in/ says they allow for EC (Encumbrance Certificate) needed for Khatha. After EC online service application and fee payment is done the status later shows that the EC is ready for download but there is no EC, just the index. Also, there is no active helpline. The gov site creates misleading statistics of processing of applications. Also, the village name for Ullalu is coming as ‘Hullalu’ in the portal which does not display any EC for that village, even though I try all combinations of Site No, Property No, BDA No etc.
