Dear Sir,

I am a subscriber of your HDFC bank credit card but due to some reason i was not able to make the payment of my outstanding money of my card.

Today i went to bank to repay the outstanding balance but
some how i got the information that bank has hold my money from my saving account and the holding money is too much higher than my swaiping money.

The representative says the surcharge and panelty is inclusive and i have to pay the whole amount other wise bank will transfer from my saving account. Please help me how to i can negotiate to come down so that i can make the payment smoothly.

Total outstanding was 9000.00 but bank people says the total outstanding is Rs. 20770.00inclusive interest, surcharges and penalty.

Please suggest me.
