I had a two wheeler loan bearing Loan Acc. No. L2WCAL00600799 for motorcycle with Reg No. KL-11-AF-5797, from your Calicut office having postal address “Bajaj Finance, C/O Kvr Motors, Post Box Number 925, Chakkorathkulam, Kannur Road, Calicut – 5 Kerala”.
The loan was being paid as prescribed installments and it was closed in full settlement last month. The closing payments were done by my in-laws, in whose possession is the vehicle now, and they were given a waver amount of Rs.5000/- at the time of closing. Since I’m having a divorce petition on going with my husband, I had a change of address of communication, i had notified it your office last month and had informed them i would be coming in person to collect the NOC (No Objection Certificate) for the loan closure.
On 16 July 2013, i was informed from your office that the NOC is ready and was asked to collect it in person by providing a copy of any of my valid ID proof.
Based on this i came to your Calicut office on 17 May 2013, and was informed by your Calicut Operations Manager Mr. Bijesh that since i didn’t personally close the loan and it was closed by a third party (my in-laws), he won’t be giving the NOC to me. Or else i need to pay him the amount wavered Rs.5000/- as a gift or bribe, in order for me to collect the NOC personally.
I haven’t yet collected the NOC though as the registered owner of the above said vehicle, i have full rights to claim it.
As a lady, i was very much humiliated by Mr. Bijesh for no reason, infornt of other staff of Bajaj Finance, despite the fact that i was having every right to collect the NOC issued after the loan amount was settled.
Please look into this as a serious humiliation to the customers of Bajaj Finance and i request you to take proper action against the concerned staff.
Thanking You
Yours Truly
