Today morning at about 9.30 am I went to HP Petrol Pump at Sumitranagar for filling diesel into our car. We asked the person to fill diesel of Rs.1000/- The person showed us ‘Zero’ on the machine and started filling. Suddenly he stopped the machine at Rs.22/- and quickly added 2 and made it Rs.222/- He said that the machine stopped due to power failure. Then again he stated the machine from zero and filled only Rs.778/-. When asked explanation for the same, they argued that they filled right fuel. As I was getting late to office, I had to leave that place. Later, I confirmed from other petrol pump that when the power goes off, they will switch on the generator immediately and the reading continues from where it stopped and not from zero.

Rs.200/- worth diesel.

I want you to take strict action against the petrol pump and take measures to avoid tampering/ stopping of machine while filling fuel.
