My name is Ratan Singh. I started using Tikona Broadband Services (User ID – 1106705007) from June 2012, but I was fed up & frustrated with the bad service & frequent internet downtime & every time I have to log a complaint with them for resolving the issue. Then in late September 2012, I logged a complaint, because the internet service was down for few days. Their service engineer visited multiple times but was unable to resolve the issue, replying there is some issue with the main server. Due to this issue, I have not used the internet almost for half the month of Septenber, although I paid the full month rental in advance. I kept logging complaint for bringing up the service without any luck. Being fed up, I decided to disconnect/surrender the service & sent mail to Tikona service for disconnection on October 2012. Also I raised a request to refund the amount for the period my internet service was down in September. They didn’t refund the amount, rather kept on generating and sending me the bills for regular months, even after disconnection and surrendering the modem, instrument etc (I’m having acknowledgement of same). And when I ignored those bills for few months, I started getting threatening calls saying that “I’m advocate calling from Tees Hazari Court, Delhi and Tikona Digital Network has filed a case against me for not paying the pending bills. He told me to pay the bill and settle the case out of court, if I don’t want to face the consequences.” Not sure under which criteria, Tikona is generating the bills, if I’m not using their service since mid September 2012. And now it crossed the height and I got a threatening call from no. “9784574216”, stating that – “I’m Shrikant Rathod calling from Delhi Sadar police station and an advocate Manoj Kumar Mishra on behalf of Tikona, approached him for issuing a warrant against me for court case # DL-3 3092, for not paying the pending bill amount to Tikona. He is going to send the warrant to Navi Mumbai police head quarter, post which I have to be presented to Delhi court for paying fine of around Rs. 70000 to settle this case.” I can’t understand how the case has been filed in Delhi court, when I’m using the internet service in Navi Mumbai. On inquiring I found this mobile # is registered under Airtel, Rajasthan and also when I called Delhi Sadar Bazaar police station, the duty officer told me that there is no such person with name Shrikant Rathod in their police station & asked me to logged a complaint to my local police station regarding this threatening calls. Kindly requesting you to take some serious & strict action against Tikona Digital Network, because they are using the same technique to harrass their customers & trying to recover money even after disconnection. I have seen lots of customers have mentioned same type of complaints on internet against Tikona. I have tried to cover as much as possible details, but please do not hesitate to call me for any further details/queries. R

Kindly requesting you to take some serious & strict action against Tikona Digital Network, because they are using the same technique to harrass their customers & trying to recover money even after disconnection. I have seen lots of customers have mentioned same type of complaints on internet against Tikona.
