I have received a call from Ms RUCHI JAIN may be 10 times on 29th April for the bag it today holiday package. I was being told that If I book the same by 30th April 2013, I will get goods worth of Rs 3999/- as well as a package of holiday. I have booked the same by paying the amount Rs 3999/- via net banking at 10.57 AM on 30th April 2013. The order booking number is 33013493 On the same day afternoon I got another call from one Mr Arvind and his promise was if I make another payment of Rs 3999/- then I will become a premium member and also will get a straight discount of Rs 20,000/- on any product I buy. Upon assurance from him that this is not a gimmick I paid again Rs 3999/- thru internet banking and the order number generated is 33013600. I was being told by Arvind not to say the same when the verification call comes and you simply agree to the statement that you have booked for a holiday. On 1st May I got a call again from Ruchi wherein she was asking for a refundable payment of Rs 15,999/- and in turn I will receive Vox Tab with Keyboard, Diamonds, Bag etc etc. and the payment will be refunded within 10 days. This time I did not believe her and I said the same to her and disconnected the same. On 2nd May again I have received 7 calls and in the final call Mr Kushal who was Introduced as Team Leader spoke with me and upon asking him about the consumer complaints which I have read in the websites etc, his reply was: (i) “Sir India Today Group is a very big group and why should they do such things”. (ii) I have asked him what is the fun in giving me all this free of cost, He replied stating that we would like to promote these products in south and I have replied saying I cannot do marketing and Bagittoday cannot gain from me, his reply was atleast you may tell your friends. (iii) I have asked him if it is free why you want me to make a payment at first? He replied stating that we need to raise an invoice and then refund and refund amount we will treat it as promotional expenses. Only after this I made a payment of Rs 15,999/- and the order number is 33014685. I have received the goods pertaining to this order. To my surprise the TAB was a damn cheap one and the key board cannot be connected to the Tab, the quality of diamonds – god knows…..Watches were okay.
