I booked a cab from Meru yesterday(22nd Sept, 2013) to T3 at 11AM. I was assigned the cab DL1RY2675 and driver Pintu Yadav. After a while the car broke down in middle of nowhere. However, I was shocked to see that no replacement cab was assigned by Meru. I had to make a call to book another cab even though I informed the customer service that my Meru cab had broken down and I needed a cab ASAP to make it to my flight. I received an SMS assigning cab DL1RY2215, driver Govind Kumar Saw(9810828332). I immediately called him to expedite as I was in the danger of missing my flight. I immediately made at least 5-6 calls from both my and my friend’s number but the phone was busy the entire time. Ultimately, since the cab hadn’t arrived till 11:38 AM, I had to take another vehicle available immediately. When I finally reached the airport, I was late for boarding and missed my flight.
I had to get a new Air ticket which cost me ~Rs. 10,753.
