Flipcart – customer support including the higher officials kept on lying about the issue

Despite asking the customer support if the product bearing the order number OD31002060431 , may be delivered to my home at guwahati by 9 Aug2013, i was assured that the same would be done by 7th Oct and in worst case by 9th. This delivery date was missed and before i was given a reason the customer support including the higher officials kept on lying about the issue..Then as i was suppose to fly from India to dubai on 16 morning at 2:00 am, i requested that the product may be delivered latest by 15 and they again assured me to do the same but failed again.Due to some unavoidable circumstances, the dubai trip was cancelled in the last minute.The product was delivered on 16 but i was out of station until 20oct2103 and the whole purpose of the gift was wasted and made me fall in an embarrassing situation.

I want them to compensate for my embarrassment and the situation i was facing in front of the foreign national. I feel this type of sellers can leave not only me but many other people into a situation similar like this. The product was purchased on 2oct2013 and to deliver it to guwahati from there ghaziabad warehouse, it took them 15 days, which is completely unacceptable.
