Respected Sir/Madam, I had purchase a 2g Reliance Netconnect(DATA_HSD) (A/c no 500003981361, MDN No. 9321046719) Dongle with a activation and device cost as Rs.1800 and a monthly plan of Rs 850 with 3.1MBPS speed upto 5gb with an assurance that there will be good internet connectivity at my residence, but I had to soon face the reality of a very poor signal strength and poor service. After 1 year the service to the mention connection was almost lost. On this I had called up the Reliance Customer service to disconnect the services but rather than to proceed on my request they kept pushing for retention plan. Soon I realized that the company was not ready to disconnect the service so I stopped paying the bill as there was neither any service reception nor a disconnection of my service from the company. On 10/08/2013 a collection agency personal Anil Ahire from Om Enterprises of Reliance Communications had approached me for my pending dues which were Rs.1607/- on the said date. I did explained and showed him that the reception of the internet service is totally absent for the above device. On this he asked to pay a sum of Rs.528/- as a settlement amount towards the bill, which I agreed and accordingly received a receipt of the same (Receipt No-Mum 11192782) also they had told me that the services to my number will be disconnected. After 10 days I again received a call from the Reliance Communications customer service to pay up the dues on this I did explain them that I had paid them the settlement amount as the service is total absent but still I received the calls claiming for the dues. Finally on 21st Oct 2013 I have received a Notice from a High Court advocate name Mr.Shadab Peerzade claiming for the dues. The notice further states that in case of non-receipt of the dues a criminal case will be launched against me. I feel this a terrible harassment from Reliance Communication for the collection of dues for which is there has been no service. I request you to please kindly look into the same at the earliest.
