I had purchased a Kenstar microwave from Vedoms showroom Nagpur. Currently out of warranty. Few days back The input pad was not working hence I had lodged a complaint to the service station, of Kenstar in Badkas Chowk, mahal Nagpur (ph no. 0712-2732215) on last saturday. The service engineer Mr Chandu had come to our place and took the PCB for repairing. He told me that it would cost Rs 650 and Rs 250 for repair and service charges respectively. Since that day there was NO proceedings done from your service station, today upon calling him it was told to me that the PCB is not repairable and also a fresh one was not available. And the service station said to dispose-off the microwave oven. This is sheer irresponsibility from your service station to harass the customers and also to mislead them. It is possible that for a part replacement one has to destroy the whole appliance? If it is to be disposed off then I will dump the appliance in a trash can and click a photograph of the appliance and will post it on a social networking site and will add the fact that if a part is out-of-order of a kenstar appliance then you have to replace the whole thing and throw the WHOLE appliance out as it is ir-repairable.
