have asked Tikona for Safe Keeping of the Broadband on 15 July 2013. I was told that the same will be in effect for next billing Cycle. However the Safe Keeping was never activated and I was charged Monthly Rental of Rs 785 Every Month. Inspite of my Complaining about Non Activation of SafeKeeping I was always told that someone from Billing will get back to me but they never did. To Keep the Connection active I paid every month. However when i asked Tikona why the Safe Keeping was not activated they had no clue. I asked them to Waive of 2 months of Rental as i have not used the Broadband which they refused however are granting me discount for Future Rental payments, which I refused and asked me to refund the 2 months of Rental which i paid and close the Connection. Inspite of my repeated reminders and Email as well as Calls to Customer Care the same was not actioned and after Persistent mails the same Disconnection was done on 20 November. However I have asked for Disconnection atleast 20 days before 20 Novemeber. I requested mr. Nair to refund my 2 months of rental because i am not interested in taking Discount Offer. The Discount Offer Email Dt.21 Novemeber is also Below. Message for Mr. Nair on 21 November” We would like to inform you that if you will continue with the services we will provide you waiver of Rs.300.00 in the bills and also 30% discount for three months.” The Discount offer had a total Value of around Rs 1000 which Tikona Knows it is liable to pay me.
Tikona Over phone called me from mumbai & has promised me they will be Waiving of the Charges and refunding me Rental Value for 2 months. However they have lieved charges for Month of November Also. As Tikona is a PrePay Service Provider (i.e Payment is asked before the services are provided for the month) , they are not understanding their Basic Financial of how PrePay and PostPay Works. Since Then Tikona is harassing me to pay Monthly Rental for the Services which i haven’t used. This has caused me a lot a Pain in writing to you, a lot of valuable time lost, A Mental Agony. I Request the Consumer Forum to Lodge a Complaint with above details. The Compensation I seek from Tikona is Refund of 2 Months Rental and a Rs 10000 towards Mental Harassment and Agony. The Complaint is also Sent to Karnataka Consumer Forum by Speedpost with all evidence of the Conversation Between Tikona and Myself. Request you to Decide Impartially and Pass a Judgement Being Fit for the Complaint.
They have charged me till 25 Nov. KIndly ask them to Refund from 11/08. They are harassing me and threatening me Legal Action And Court Case. They are one of the most incompetent persons i have ever seen. Their Appellate Authority Mr. Nair is also involved in this scam. I request Core to investigate and Refund my Money with Rs10000 as compensation.
