I purchased the mobile on 10-Mar-2012 from Jumboo electronics for Rs.8150. After receiving the device various defects were found. The screen was appearing white in color with parallel lines. The device was hanging often getting turned off randomly and not operating properly. I showed the mobile to Samsung service center in Navimumbai. They told me that it will cost Rs.1360 to get the parts replaced; however they did not show the prices of the specific parts to me saying it as confidential and that price of the parts change on daily basis. One of an employee of the service center called me to inform that the motherboard is also damaged and it will cost Rs.4600 more. They did not verify it while receiving the phone. They informed the complainant that the motherboard did not come under the warranty. The service centre must have tampered the phone and have damaged the motherboard also to deceive me.
