I am using Lumia N720 phone for last 9 months. I am facing Volume down press button problem as it doesn’t work sometimes on continuous pressing also. I went to NOKIA CARE – OKHLA, Delhi. I showed them phone and after sometime they tell me it can’t be repaired under warranty because of small body damage. I asked them what’s the link between body damage and Volume button when damaged part is outer corner body. To this they say You can ask Nokia. Manager Renu also gave me the illogical answer. To this when I said if in future anything happens to my phone (lets say camera button problem) you’ll just deny it to repair under warranty because of this damage which happened way back, She said yes. Then why have Nokia kept warranty if consumer can’t avail it. I fail to understand this illogical explanation of small damage and button problem which have no link. Also this small damage happened just a month after I bought phone and this Volume button problem I started facing 2 months back, indicating a gap of almost 6 months between these two things. So how come such thing can be linked. They refused to repair my phone and asked me I have to pay for it. I request you to look into this Nokia policy of non-repairing under warranty wherein they deny repairing under warranty because of physical damage even if it is very small and way far from where you are facing problem.

I want Nokia to repair my mobile under warranty when said problem has no link with the damage.
