DTDC – Guarantee Delivery Service – Review

had sent a parcel for Raksha bandhan through DTDC (blue) premium service from Hyderabad to Jammu on Thursday, 7th August, 2014 at around 2 p.m. They booked my parcel through DTDC blue which delivers within 48 hours. I had clearly mentioned them that I wanted it to be delivered on Saturday, 9th august. Therefore they booked it against DTDC blue and gave me assurance that it will be reached on the same day. My parcel was not delivered on Rakshabandhan and so my wishes and emotions. today I am filing the complaint on 12th August and still it has not reached and the status is still showing in-transit. the customer care service of DTDC is pathetic. I called on the helpine no.-011-44900133 on sunday, 10th August and they were not giving me clear details. At first the Executive had put my phone on hold and he started speaking to someone else. I can clearly hear his discussion and he was on a personal call. First time in my lifetime, I have experienced CRM representative putting the consumer call on hold and speaking on personal issues. the representative told me that he will contact me within 30 minutes after getting the details but he never called. Every time I called him back he gave me the same reply and he never reverted.

I want to sue them for 10 lakhs rupees for all the emotional distress and trauma they have caused to me and my family to teach them a lesson. I want refund for both the parcel value and delivery services-Rs 1345 (345+1000)
