I have purchased Samsung Ace S5830i Mobile from Reliance Digital, Inorbit Mall, Hyderabad vide Invoice No. 027423 Sales Man ID: 60136706 on 18th May 2014, 15:10:47 (IMEI # 352306051470412)by paying INR 5030 by credit card as per standard warranty terms. Within 3 months I am experiencing sudden shut down of cell phone due to swell in battery. As a result I have approach Samsung Customer Care – Kukatpally (Tirumala Communication, HYD-16) on 18th Aug, 2014 who has accepted the fault but denied to replace battery by claiming that mobile is out of warranty due to production date has crossed (01.06.2012)& guide me to contact vendor from where mobile is purchase by provide copy of OW due to production date(out of warranty). As a result I have visited Reliance Digital Customer Care – Inorbit, Hyderabad immediately for resolution of matter as battery warranty is valid for 6 months from date of purchase (not date of produciton). Reliance Digital has assure to follow with manufacturer (Samsung)& replace battery within 3-4 working days but denied to give anything in writing. Neither they have except my complaint in writing not except to take custody of mobile / battery. I have approached several times over a call which they keep continue giving false promises. So I have visited Reliance Digital customer care again on 30th August which they have promised again to replace on 1st September followed by internal approval. I have called 3 times again to them for replacement which they keep on making false promises so I have visited their store on 1st September by 2:30pm. Again store manager advice me to wait for another 2-3 days without anything giving or excepting in writing. Hence I have submitted my mobile instrument with battery by removing sim card as it is of no use to me. Repeated false promises without resolution make me disappointed.
I want battery to be replaced immediately which is within warranty (just 3 months of purchase).
