The details of the complaint and related issues are as under:

Nature of Service assured: On road car breakage support and car maintenance service

Company’s Agent/ representative responsible for transction: Mr. Sandeep Kanwar mobile/ phone number 9352160203, 9829126026 and 01415106046

Complainant’s car number: RJ 14 5C 7053

Complainant’s Onroad membership card registration number & validity: No.AP-14768 valid upto 20/04/2010 and No.M- 57364 issued for the period 21/04/2010 to 20/04/2011.

On behalf of above Company his representative Mr. Sandeep collected Rs. 1100/= (Rs. Eleven hundred only) from the undersigned for providing on road car breakage support and free car maintenance service. The payment was made vide my account cheque number 445315 and Mr. Sandeep issued me receipt no. A-11 3638 dated 24/03/2010. Though my previous membership with company was valid upto 20/04/2010, yet on company’s request, I made the advance payment on 24/03/2010, itself.

On 31/03/2010, I was transferred from Jaipur to Mumbai and I planned to leave Jaipur on 06/10/2010. On 02/04/2010, the undersigned requested Mr. Sandeep to cancel future renewal and to arrange refund of Rs.1100/= the future membership fee collected by him. Mr. Sandeep assured to refund the amount latest by 06/04/2010. But since 06/04/10, he was delaying the refund by giving one excuse/reason or another and during this time the undersigned have made more than 100 Calls on Mr. Sandeep’s numbers. On 19/4/10 and again on 20/4/10, looking to the delays in payment and my earlier membership expiry date the undersigned emailed the Company on ID support@citycarhelpline.co.in and requested for refund of Rs.1100/= and informed the responses of Mr. Sandeep.

Since 06/04/10 Mr. Sandeep was giving one excuse/reason or another but last week at around 23/24th September-10 he has refused to refund the money, saying in case of transfer Company would not refund. The request of cancellation was made well before the start of service period and it was very well accepted by Mr. Sandeep but now he is refusing. This is a cheating and Company has also allowed this to happen.

The above acts of the company have made mental agony and loss of money to the undersigned therefore I pray your goddselves that the company should be guided suitably to compensate the damages and settle the payment.
