No Valid Date of SONY TV Warranty on Card

Dear Sir / Madam,

I am Pabitra Biswas residing at Vill-Bara(Bakultala),Po- Thakurnagar, Ps-Gaighata,Dist-24Parganas(N),Pin-743287. I purchased a LED television of SONY, 32” , model no:- KDL-32W600A from a renowned stores named “SREEMA” at Snehabithi plaza, Habra, 24 parganas(N). They gave me a Warranty Card issued from SONY but in that card there was no validity.It is completely blank. Now the issue is my TV set got problem and i called the SONY customer care helpline no:-18001037799 and told them about my problem. Within a week they came to my place and examine the TV set and asked me to take it to their service centre. I did the same. After reaching the SONY’s service centre they told that it will cost me to Rs. 12,500/-. Then i argued with them that i have the warranty card and i showed it to them. They were just laughing at me and told that there is no validity date mentioned on the card. So they cant do anything on this case. I have to pay the said amount. If there was a validity date mentioned on the warranty card then it will be free of cost. Without validity the warranty card has no value. They said.
I was not properly checking the warranty card at that time of purchase, i should checked it thoroughly, It is my fault that i truely accept but now what should i do ….????. Please suggest me a solution of this problem.I am attaching the warranty card’s copy herewith this mail for your consideration. Thanking you.
