I purchased Toshiba LCD TV-26A V 550E from E-Zone, Homeland, Kolkata, Bhavanipore vide their cash memo no.T10/6323 dt. 26-01-2010. The TV was hardly used (altogether 4-5 months only) but after few months of its warranty period it suddenly stopped functioning. This was reported to Toshiba customer care centre vide complaint no.111511-881 and their technician visited and inspected the TV but could not repair it. High end Toshiba gadgets are supposed to work a few years at least !! The matter was taken up with Toshiba (with documentary proof) vide letter/message dated 5-12-2011 and further several reminders, but no response received so far. How can such a reputed organisation keep silent in the matter without replying to the complaint ?
