This is to inform you the hardship faced by me at your travels. I have booked a ticket (PNR 975353) from Hyderabad to Trivandrum, Kerala on 19.08.2012. I have booked the ticket through online and paid Rs 1800/-.The bus was of VOLVO-B9R (MULTI AXLE-SEMISLEEPER). I have booked seat number 47. But to my surprise the seat was not a semi sleeper. Bus cleaner told me that the corner two seats are not push back. Since it was an urgent journey, I planned to continue the journey. The bus has started from Gachibowli at 4.30 pm on 19.08.2012. After 2 hours of journey, entire front glass of the bus has broken because of wind pressure. The driver and the helper got injured. God’s grace nothing has happened to the passengers. Actually the glass was of duplicate, hence it was broken. Driver informed us that original glass costs Rs 90,000/- and duplicate only cost Rs 12000/-. Driver told that a bus from Hyderabad of same travels is coming to drop us in Trivandrum. Hence we waited in the highway. After 3 hours a bus from Hyderabad came to the spot to continue the journey. But at around 3’O’ clock in the night, they asked us to get down from the bus. Driver told us that the bus which we were traveling has no permit to enter Kerala. Hence we have boarded another bus, which was coming from Trivandrum. The bus has reached at Nagercoil, which is around 70 km away from Trivandrum at around 4.30 pm. Then the bus driver told that the bus wouldn’t go to trivandrum. Instead they arranged a tempo and we reached trivandrum at around 6.30 pm. Actually the bus which dropped us in Nagercoil has to start from Trivandrum and had to go to Hyderabad at around 1.00 pm. Instead they brought the passengers from Trivandrum to Nagercoil by the same “Tempo van”. As per the website running time from Hyderabad to Trivandrum is 20.30 hours. That means the bus has to reach at Trivandrum at 11.00 pm. But I have reached in Trivandrum at 6.30 pm but that too in a “Tempo van”. This is one of the worst services I had ever had in my life. From Hyderabad to Trivandrum I had to take 4 buses. How the travels can risk the life of these passengers by fixing duplicate glass. Since the driver didn’t loss the control nothing has happened. Hence I request you to compensate for the hardships I have faced.
