I got postpaid internet dongle postpaid services from Airtel with number 7738253xxx around a year back in NOV 2013. I want to cancel the service now. They do not have any option to cancel the service directly on the airtel.in site, I can add all services in minutes, but cancelling option is not directly available. There is a “hidden option” for manage services which does not work , it is available only when we juggle around, which took 5 to 6 attempts to find this option. so, only way i found to cancel the service is to raise a service request on their site. which i did on 13th DEC, 2014. I have not got any update till date i.e.,17th DEC,2014. When they can start a service in 3 days maximum with all the verification process, why cannot they cancel the service in the same time at least.
I want my service to be canceled. Also i want them to give an option for future to anyone to stop their service at any time or start at any time in their site airtel.in. Where internet services are growing, to add extra services in minutes through airtel.in site, changing or cancelling services should also be available to be done in minutes as required. For name sake they have “manage services” option, but it never works and they take their time to respond to the service requests, “which is clear ‘intention of airtel’ as a provider to make it hard for customers to change\cancel services and charge customers for their negligence to attend to service requests”.
