Hi, Airtel website currently provides registering online for Auto debit on the credit card. I followed the instruction provided in their website to register all 3 mobile connection to charge against my credit card. I have also received confirmation email from them. Email says my registration is successful and the service will start. I was waiting for the bill to appear on my credit card. They had not charged my card. When I called the customer care numbers, their representatives told me that my numbers are not registered and I have to personally visit their office to do this. They also told that RBI is mandating all these rules. My issues is, I have followed exactly what they have mentioned on their own website and received confirmation email as well. Airtel is not following auto debit instructions.
I want Airtel to follow what they have been telling in their web site. Their customer care representatives to understand the exact procedures. Website and their representatives are giving contracting information.
