My Broadband internet from Airtel started giving problems on 3rd June 2013. Finally it stopped working completely on 7th June 2013. I registered a complaint on the same day and was given a complaint number 35247808. Since then there has been 3 visits to my home from Airtel technical staff but the problem has not been resolved. In addition to this they incorrectly marked my complaint as resolved on multiple occasions and I had to get it re-opened by calling their helpline. Have also filed complaints at 121@in.airtel.com and nodal.ncr@in.airtel.com, but have received no response. Everytime I speak to them they promise a resolution by a specific time, but it does not happen.
My family is unable to access internet for 10 days resulting in many problems to my work, my spouse’s work and my son’s homework. We have been forced to arrange an emergency data card to get over this problem. I pay almost 1000 Rs / month for this airtel connection and should be getting 2MBPS speed broadband internet. However am getting nothing.
1. Need the problem to be fixed permanently and Airtel to respond to me to tell me what efforts they are doing. 2. Need a waiver in the next bill that is to be generated on 18th July due to the service not being provided 3. Need to be compensated for the inconvenience caused.
