Airtel – deactivated my GPRS service

Dear Sir/Madam, I am a customer of Airtel mobile no. 9855830xxx. I had been provided GPRS data pack 500 MB in Rs. 60/-per month by Airtel. (2) I had sent a sms to Airtel customer care on 7/8th March, 2014 that to “deactivate my GPRS service when my data 500 MB will be consumed”. But Airtel had deactivated my GPRS service before the consumption of 500 MB data on 8th March, 2014. On that day (8th March, 2014) my data usages were approximately 397 MB out of 500 MB as SMS received from Airtel by sending request “DATA USAGES” on 121. Whereas Airtel had to be deactivated my GPRS after the consumption of 500MB data according to my request but Airtel did not so and Airtel had also not informed me in the reference of my this request. (3) Now Airtel has sent me a bill in which flat charges of Rs. 2,200/- approx. has been imposed for data usages instead of provided pack of Rs. 60/-pm. I had contacted to Airtel authorities and they waived Rs. 561/- only. Airtel authorities had also stated that they had not accepted my above said request and deactivated the GPRS service immediately and bill has been prepared on the basis of flat charges instead of provided pack of Rs. 60/- pm. Airtel authorities had not waived rest of charges of Rs. 1,600/- approx. after my repeated requests. (4) Due to non acceptance of my request stated in para 2 above by Airtel and non giving any response in the reference of that request, I am suffering lose of Rs. 1,600/- approx. If Airtel informs me in the reference of my above stated request, I do-not suffer this loss. Due to the mistake of Airtel authorities, I am suffering this loss of Rs. 1,600/-. I am not in a position to pay this huge unnecessary/wrongly charged amount. You are, therefore, requested to look into the matter and direct the Airtel authorities to amend the bill as per provided plan of GPRS. I shall be highly thankful to you.
