I was holding Airtel post paid no 8800500915. I had requested disconnection of this number. After that a large number of Airtel executives spoke to me to say that I should not disconnect the number but change is to a pre paid number and charges–at that time about Rs 350 would be waived. Reluctantly I agreed , however, to my horror I got a bill of Rs 1314. I wrote again on 29 Jan 2013 for disconnection and waiving off the amount. Mr Sooraj from Airtel (9971113826) spoke to me and pleaded that I should keep a post paid number and that an Airtel rep would contact me at my office at 4 Factory Road to give me a new prepaid SIM. Two more Airtel employees rang me to say that a post paid SIM is being sent. Airtel is harassing me unnecessarily.My Service Request number is 48454688. Request to take action immediately.
