I am Ravikumar. I had recharged my airtel prepaid account (No 8971001964) online -for international roaming for 2000 (twice for 1000). Transaction id- 504855242 and 858053. BUT when I tried to call home from Malaysia, 1 call went through . After that no calls went through. What happened to my Rs 2000? After that I again recharged Rs 500 online in Malaysia. Even that lasted only 1 call. I want my Rs 2000 refunded back to my ICICI account. I also want a detailed account of all my calls made in Malaysia with timings and the amount charged. I have attached the bank statement showing Rs 994 deducted twice from my account. I have complained so many times to the phone customer care who were of very little help. I have escalated to 121@in.airtel.com also BUT they don’t seem to understand that I don’t need international roaming NOW. SO I DON’T WANT 75 MINUTES OF FREE TALK TIME. I want my refund NOT talk time. Today what they told me MAKES NO SENSE. We would like to confirm that, Rs.994/- plan is not applicable in Malaysia. However, Rs.994/- plan is applicable only in Dubai/UAE. THAT IS WHY I could not make calls to india when I was in malaysia. SO AIRTEL SHOULD RETURN OR REFUND MY MONEY , RIGHT?- Since I could not utilise my 994+ 994 rupees. INSTEAD they are asking me to go to Dubai or UAE to utilise my Rs 2000 which is not practical or possible.
I request the consumer forum to pass an order asking them to refund Rs 4000 for harassing me.
