I purchased a Airtel prepaid SIM card having mobile No.9629974982 on 08.07.2013 at 08.00pm at UNIVERCELL show room situated at Byepass Road,Madurai. Initially I purchased that card in the name of B.GAYATHIRI,(Daughter of My brother). She submitted her driving licence as Id proof and that driving licence is issued by the Govt of Chatisgarh. Your salesman accepted the Id proof and issue the SIM card and he told that the SIM was activated on or before 5.00pm on 09.07.2013. But the number was not activated till 07.00pm on 10.07.2013. In the meantime I contact so many salesman through my mobile number they cannot solve the issue. I spend too much of money for calling your officials. On 10.07.2013 at night 8.00pm one of your salesman named by Shri.Bala, who is working as Manager at your UNIVERCELL, Bye pass road, madurai , showroom told the reason for not activation of SIM. He advised me to produce the local id proof. So I gave my Driving licence as Id proof and fill the new form for purchase the mentioned SIM card in my name. I produce the document on 11.07.2013 at 9.45am. at your byepass road showroom. Your official assure me to activate the sim on that day itself. i.e. 11.07.2013 before 5.00pm. But the SIM was not activated till time. One of your official calling from the Number.8042855400 on 14.07.2013 around 11.00 am. He told me that my Sim was activated on 13.07.2013 and advise me that I have dialed the number 59059 and continue to use the sim. From 12.07.2013 onwards I dialed the number 59059 from the new number and I heard the word that “PLEASE CHECK THE NUMBER YOU HAVE DIALED”. I called the number 9629974982 from other mobile then I heard the voice that “THE NUMBER IS NOT A VALID NUMBER”. I ask your customer care executive through the number 121, they told me that the owner the number 9629974982 is another person not me. They told the muslim community name. I suspect that your officials misuse the particulars of the customer. Also I suspect that my number may be used for some antisocial elements. If is it correct I go for legal remedy and take suitable action against your company. I want to surrender your SIM. Please arrange to refund the amount and return my documents including photo and xerox copy of id proof.
