Airtel – Rejected broadband application fee not refunded

I applied for Airtel Broadband on 12th Aug (Ref No. 199314340) along with all required documents and Rs. 500. I received the following sequence of texts 1. 13th Aug: Your request is in process and post checking availability we will revert in 48 hrs 2. 14th Aug: We have received docs. Your airtel fixedline installation req 16687998 is being processed and will take 3 working days. 3. 17th Aug: Your request is in process and post checking availability we will revert in 48 hrs 4. 17th Aug: We are currently unable to process due to non-coverage in your area 5. 17th Aug: Your request is in process and post checking availability we will revert in 48 hrs Repeated calls to Channel Manager to either provide connection or return Rs. 500 has fallen on deaf ears.

I demand a refund of the application fee of Rs. 500 as well as a compensation of Rs. 2000 for the mental agony and anguish caused as also to act as a deterrent against such acts by Airtel in the future.
