Details of me are: RAHUL VARSHNEY 3G Data Card No.: 9717004937 Address: D-787/4, NEAR KRISHNA MANDIR GANESH NAGAR II SHAKARPUR, NEW DELHI, 110092 Mob: 8860215309 Dear Sir, I have purchased an airtel 3 G Datacard on 20th June’13, however the same was activated by Airtel on 27th June’13. At the time of purchase Airtel offer a speed of upto 7.2 MBPS (as usually provided in 3G Network) , but since then it is working so slow like a 2 G connections, I have filed 2 complaints vide Complaint No. 51648117 dated 16/7/13 & 51722527 dated 17/7/13 for the correction of fault. The response from airtel was very slow, several time they messaged me that they were not able to reach me. After my repeated efforts, they finally told me that I am in a Low Coverage area, hence the speed is not what it should be. However the same fact was not disclosed to me at the time of sell of product. They offered me to invoice at discounted rate as the services are slow but generated the bill as per 3G tariffs. Though at that time also, I request him that instead of this type of discount they should resolve my speed problem or take their data card back and refund my money that I have paid for purchasing data card. Now they have also generated and mailed me (mail not received) First Bill (as informed by sms) of 350.18 for 10 days. Though I have neither received hard copy nor soft copy of the invoice. On calling customer care I was informed that my mail id written there is wrong and they are not ready to correct it on phone even I replied security questions and ask them to correct email address. I appeal for refund of data card price and return of data card as the fact of low coverage was not disclosed to me.
