I had requested activation of Mobile Internet Plan 125 with Monthly rental 125 having 1 GB Data free per month in September. It was activated by a confirmation email by them. The service was subsequently stopped after one month which we noticed in one of the subsequent bills where we had been charged with mobile internet usage charges. We protested for reversal of Internet charges since the stoppage of service was not requested by us nor it was communicated to us. They accepted their mistake and reversed only Rs.500 in the month of January. Further in the bill of February, 2014 we see that they have charged rental for the Mobile Internet plan for the months they had deactivated. Surprisingly, we see that they have charged Mobile Internet rental for the billing period of December January twice.
Since they are charging the Mobile internet Rental which they had stopped mistakenly, they should reverse the charges levied for usage of Internet during that period. They cannot charge the rental as well as the usage. Point to note is that my usage is well below the free data limit allowed in the plan.
