I bought a flat E-311 sized 915 sq.ft., in September, 2009 from Ajnara India Ltd. located at Ajnara Integrity, Raj Nagar Extn., Ghaziabad, U.P. on down payment. Total cost of flat is Rs.17,73,700/- out of which Rs.15,68,000/- have already been paid. As per the agreement, the possession of flat was supposed to be given on 30 June, 2011. Its more than 2 years but the builder has not handed over the possession till date. I personally visited the construction site many times and observed that the construction work is very slow. Based on the status of the construction, I don’t see the possession happening in near future. In this connection I contacted the builder many times but the builder failed to give any reasonable reason for delay in construction/possession, every time they give a new date of possession verbally. Moreover I am not given any compensation for delay in possession.

1. Flat 12% p.a. interest on amount paid by me (Rs.15,68,000/-) from the date of proposed possession till August, 2013 (26 months) = Rs.4,07,680/- . 2. House Rent (@Rs.8000/- p.m. approx.) from the date of proposed possession till August, 2013 (26 months) = Rs.208000
