Product shipped on: 14th August 2014 Product delivered on: 23rd August 2014 Request for return raised on: 24th August Amount paid for consideration: 10,649 Rupees for product 1 2,867 Rupees for product 2 Items of goods with quantities: 1.Sennheiser CC 510 Single-Sided Monaural Headset with Noise-Canceling Microphone (one) 2.Sennheiser PC 21-II Single-Sided Headset with Microphone (one) Facts regarding the complaint: The sellar has been unfair in his trade, because under “technical details” enumerated regarding the product online, the entire product has not been described (the wire of the device and its connecting mechanism is not mentioned) and it has not been mentioned that ANOTHER CONNECTING WIRE OF COST APPROXIMATELY 8000 RUPEES would be needed to connect the device to a computer. Neither has the wire of the product been shown on the picture by means of which the buyer can apprehend the requirement of another large expenditure. Immediately upon receiving the product, when I realized that another expenditure would be needed, I raised requests for return repeatedly and was turned down, saying that “the product has been shipped and I should contact a local technician, product will not be taken back”. This in spite of AMAZON’s misleading TV advertisements of ‘easy returns’ where a man is seen showing returning a product because he mistakenly purchased an item thinking it’s his wife’s birthday! Initially, I got a response from amazon.in that the request for cancellation of the product (Sennheiser CC 510 Single-Sided Monaural Headset with Noise-Canceling Microphone) has been accepted, and only then I ordered for another substitute product (Sennheiser PC 21-II Single-Sided Headset with Microphone). After amazon and cart2india refused to return the product, I decided to cancel the second order too, and I got a reply that somebody from their team would contact me on the next day (Monday) to help me out. Nobody called me up the next day and to my amazement, they refused to cancel the second order too! Hence, I shall probably have to keep both products due to their malpractice.
I seek a relief of the cost of both products, another 10,000 Rupees for the losses I incurred due to their mal-trade practice and another 20,000 Rupees due to the loss of my time in perusing this particular case, hence causing economic loss to me (total 33,516 Rupees)
