I have purchased a insurance policy from M/s Aviva Life Insurance for sum assured for Rs. 150000/- vide policy No. WTG 1558237 on dated 28/05/2007. At the time of purchase of this policy the agent of the company told me that I have to deposit minimum three installments of Rs. 10000/- each per year and after that I can encash my policy. I have deposited first three installments for a total sum of Rs. 30000/-. Later on I have enquired from the company about the status of my policy as I want to encash this policy because I am not in a position to continue this policy due to financial crises. Now the representative of the company told me that your cheque for a sum of Rs. 10000/- towards this policy as total surrender value has been dispatched to your mailing address which I never received till date. It is a matter of surprise that neither I have surrendered my policy nor I have asked any one for its cancellation and the original policy is still lying with me. Presently the market fund value of my policy is Rs. 28000/-. I have requested so many times to the company to give me the amount as per fund value but no one is ready to listen me. I have also complained about this to the seniors of the company but result is nothing. So you are requested to please direct the Aviva life Insurance company to release my hard earned money deposited with company as my financial position is not good. An early action in this regard is highly solicited.
